GreenTech & Sustainable Digital Skills
Explore how technology is driving the green economy - from clean energy and smart cities to AI-powered sustainability tools and green digital careers.
Programme Overview
Our GreenTech & Sustainable Digital Skills programme is a free, structured introduction to the intersection of technology and sustainability. Participants explore how digital innovation is powering the transition to a greener economy - covering clean energy technology, smart cities, environmental data, AI for sustainability, and the growing range of green digital careers. No technical background is required. This programme is designed to be accessible, inspiring, and directly relevant to the UK's net-zero ambitions and the communities most affected by climate change.
The green economy is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the UK, and digital skills are at its heart. From AI-powered energy management and environmental data analysis to sustainable supply chains and green fintech, technology is transforming how we address climate change. This programme gives participants a broad, practical understanding of GreenTech - what it is, how it works, and how to build a career within it. Sessions combine real-world case studies, hands-on exploration of green digital tools, and clear pathways into employment and further learning.
No experience needed. This programme is free, inclusive, and designed for people with no prior background in the subject. We welcome everyone, especially those from underserved and digitally excluded communities.
