Social Media & Digital Storytelling
Learn to create compelling content, tell powerful community stories, and build real audiences using short-form video, social platforms, and digital media tools.
Programme Overview
Our Social Media & Digital Storytelling programme is a practical, creative introduction to one of the most in-demand skill sets in the modern digital economy. Participants learn how to plan and produce short-form video content, craft authentic community narratives, grow audiences across social platforms, and use digital tools to tell stories that connect, inspire, and create change. No prior experience is needed. This programme is built for people who have something to say and want the skills to say it powerfully.
Every community has stories worth telling. This programme gives participants the tools, techniques, and confidence to tell them. From understanding how social platforms work and what makes content travel, to scripting and filming short-form video, editing on mobile, building a content strategy, and using AI-powered creative tools, participants leave with real content in their portfolio and the skills to keep creating. Sessions are hands-on, collaborative, and grounded in real community contexts.
No experience needed. This programme is free, inclusive, and designed for people with no prior background in the subject. We welcome everyone, especially those from underserved and digitally excluded communities.
