Technical Writing
Learn to communicate complex technical content clearly and professionally - a vital skill for every digital, tech, and business role.
Programme Overview
Our Technical Writing programme teaches participants how to create clear, accurate, and user-focused technical documentation for digital products, services, and organisations. From API documentation and user guides to SOPs, knowledge bases, and grant reports, participants develop the writing skills, structure, and tools knowledge needed to communicate technical information confidently in professional contexts. No prior writing background is required.
Technical writing is one of the most transferable and in-demand skills across the digital economy. Every technology product needs documentation - user manuals, API references, help articles, onboarding guides, process documents, and more. This programme gives participants the frameworks, techniques, and tools to write clearly and effectively for technical audiences and everyday users alike, with direct application to careers in tech, digital, healthcare, finance, charity, and public sector organisations.
No experience needed. This programme is free, inclusive, and designed for people with no prior background in the subject. We welcome everyone, especially those from underserved and digitally excluded communities.
