What does volunteering actually involve?
We keep it simple and flexible. Here is what we ask of our volunteer trainers.
Deliver Training Sessions
Facilitate engaging workshops and sessions on digital skills topics, in person, online, or hybrid, to learners from underserved communities.
Support Learner Journeys
Guide participants through course content, answer questions, and provide encouragement to help them build confidence and capability.
Provide Session Feedback
Complete brief post-session reports so we can track learner progress, measure impact, and continuously improve our programmes.
Commit to Agreed Sessions
Honour the sessions you sign up for. We understand life happens, so just give us as much notice as possible if plans change.
Share Your Expertise
Bring your real-world knowledge and industry experience into the room. Our learners benefit most from practitioners who have lived it.
Collaborate With Our Team
Work alongside our programme coordinators and fellow trainers to ensure sessions are well-prepared, inclusive, and impactful.

We welcome trainers from all backgrounds: whether you are a seasoned professional, a recent graduate, or a self-taught expert. If you have knowledge to share and a desire to give back, we want to hear from you.

What We Are Looking For
Experience in your subject area (professional or academic)
Passion for community impact and digital inclusion
Ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences
Reliability and commitment to agreed sessions
Based in the UK or able to deliver online
Willingness to undergo a basic DBS check if required
No formal teaching qualification required
We provide onboarding support, session templates, and guidance. You bring the expertise and we help you deliver it effectively.
